Ms Lizi is the Grade 4 teacher this year at Morning Star International School. She is from England and has worked in various fields of childcare since completing her A Levels in the UK. Her background in childcare is completing the EYFS (early years foundation stage) which then lead onto becoming a private nanny in the UK for 7 years. Ms Lizi has a passion for travel and learning new cultures which lead her onto volunteering in India re-building schools and teaching English in poor communities, She completed her TEFL qualification which brought her to Vietnam. Ms Lizi has had 3 years teaching in Vietnam in a bilingual school, Vietnamese public schools, private tutoring and this will be her second year teaching at Morning Star International School. Her main hobby is sport and fitness therefore will bring an enthusiastic attitude towards teaching. She strives to create a classroom atmosphere of warmth and happiness and a place for the children to develop in some of their most important years of growing as individuals. Lizi really looks forward to meeting her new Grade 4 Class.

I am really looking forward to teaching Grade 4 this year and getting more involved with the Elementary curriculum. I really enjoy keeping the children busy and interested with the work that I give. I find this age group have great enthusiasm to learning and I intend to keep that up and challenge them with new work and ideas for their learning. I personally love to keep active every day of the week either at the gym, yoga, cycling around Hanoi or taking a walk to discover a new hidden place. I try and make a conscious effort to support local charities and help where I can. I love to challenge myself daily with new teaching ideas and experiments. I aim to make school and my classroom a happy place for every individual child in my class whilst bringing a positive and professional attitude with me every day.
